Thnx everyone for the comments.. It's been a tough decision.. I mean if the manufacturer of the wheels is telling me I will need modification to my fenders to fit 19x10 +55mm with 275/30.. then I'd rather follow what they think is the best set-up for our cars... although I know my initial set-up should be fine.. but maybe the wheel design might play a role like the tire choice?

I've used 3 or 4 different tire brands now 275/30's and haven't had any issues. HRE is being conservative they want them to fit right out of the box which is understandable. not push the limits.
either way it's going to be awesome. P40's are my favorite wheel I'm looking to get them for my boss 302 mustang that should be here for the summer.

Oh, Jeff I found a pic on facebook of the exact same set up I ordered (HRE recommendation).. Same brushed with tinted clear finish, but it's on a black C63.. Only difference is he is running P40s, not P40. I will post pics tonight after work so u can tell me ur opinion on the flushness. His tires are also 245/35f & 275/30r.

Thnx for your help RPM, but I will be using my OEM lugs as they are fairly new & unused.
If I dont like the look, I will sure contact you to get new ball seated lugs.

Looking forward to see the rims on your car as well Roswell
Nice to see different finishes. If i'm not mistaken the brushed P40 isn't that common? At least i haven't seen many around.

Thx Jycke for the kind words.. I believe the brushed finish with tinted clear coat is around 300$ more.. Maybe that's why it's not very common. But I've seen a lot of P40 in brushed.

Update: I got confirmation from HRE that my wheels are built & ready to ship. Yikes!! All I can say is Lon @ HRE has been great with communication & the engineers at HRE factory are working fast... only 2 weeks to build my custom wheels, that is fast!
They will be shipped to Wheel Boutique first as I got a wheel & tire package from them. Stay tune for pics soon.

I'm keeping my set in the sig, I always like to have an extra set in case. I also love the look of the staggered 3pcs. U can't have the same effects on a 1pc set.. Unless u go concave.

5 days ago, they were shipped from HRE from CA to WB in FL.. And today I got a call from WB & an email with tracking about the wheel getting shipped to me. I can say HRE & WB has excellent communication & fast service.
No eta yet, but was told 4-5 days if no delays at Customs. I couldn't get a pic of the actual wheel yet.. Such a tease for real! Lol
