C63 coupe depreciation
So mine gets delivered sometime in June. I am from the UK and wanted to compare depreciation costs of this car with you guys in the states.
My deal is £599 per month ($922) x 36 and I put down £6k ($9240) with an option to buy car for £28,700 ($44k) at the end of 3 years or hand the car back.
If I hand the car back total cost over 36 months for me would be £27,600 ($42.5k). If pay the final payment and buy the car and sell it privately I reckon I would bring my total cost down to around £22-24k ($33-36k) for 3 years of ownership in terms of depreciation.
I have added $ prices to my costs just to make things easier to compare.
How does this compare with you folks across the pond? Are you loosing about the same or are we getting screwed here?
BTW this is for a stock car with 19s, lsd, HK audio. No PP.
