S65 powered M3's make ~30-50whp more with full exhaust, pulleys, intake and tune. I had one, so I would know. My AMG PP C63 is much faster.

I dont know if I'm impressed with my car or disappointed with the M3.... I thought it would put up a better race even in a straight line, especially with that DCT gear box. not bashing the M3, just saying I'm surprised. I guess the M3 will really shine more on the twisties.

Lets just say I'm glad I got the C63 since I have a better interior, my car sounds better and I am quite a bit faster (in the straights at least) :D

Edit: My car is a stock non P31 2012 Sedan and the M3 was a 2011 DCT coupe

The M3 owner brought a knife to a gun fight :violent:

How well do M3 engines respond to mods like headers and tune?
They dont stand a chance with only 400HP.

Anyone raced an M5?

M5 will beat a stock NON P31. You have to have P31 or tune to beat a M5..

You will beat the M5 till about 250km/h then some how he catches up and goes by you at around 280-300kmh. They got insane top end.

I had a e92 m3 with a supercharger, catless before I got the c63 coupe,I'm still not happy with the modd on the m3,is not fast enough,I enjoyed every seconds driving the c63 stock p31,and the interior is much nicer on the c63 .

hmm I'd be interested to race an E60 M5....theres a kid at my school that has one...I might ask him :D

want to see how I do without the tune and then with the tune.

Also, has anyone raced a pre 2012 GTR? Maybe with a tune our cars can take them on?

The M3 Dyno's with roughly 330 Hp to the rear wheels. The C63 Dynos with about 420, I believe. The M3 doesn't stand a chance.

only 330? and i thought non p31 c63s dyno closer to 370whp

bmw really needs to step up on the interior game..
i got inside the f10 m5 during the ny autoshow, the materials still look cheap..

yep. not a fan of the bmw interior (although on the new 6 series, it is pretty nice). I considered getting an M3 at one point just because you can get a manual but my heart was set on a c63 otherwise.

I doubt it. GT-R has been a track car from Day 1 and has much better acceleration control which makes it more efficient putting power on the wheels.

but from a roll? obviously the gtr will launch better. but once you are at speed, the 4wd wont be so much of an advantage. I dont know how much the gtr weights but since pre 2012 models are only 480 hp and i imagine less tq than us, I would think we have a chance, no?

:shakehead And the younger members here wonder why they get stereotyped :) Less experience, no fear of death, have fast cars and want to race :slap:

Ah maybe I shouldn't put it like that. I mean do a couple of high way pulls in no traffic or at the drag strip.

I really dont drive wreckless or act like a douche in my car and I realize how luck I am to own a car of this caliber at this age. I prefer to race on the track :)

really???

they look real good in pics. :nix:

the m3... i always liked the interior, especially the ones with the textured carbon fiber trim.

but the new c63 has a beautiful interior.

I like the interior on both cars, but I do agree that the C63 has a higher quality interior.

i think its pretty plain, especially after stepping from a c63 into an m3...

also, the quality of materials is better in the C.

I've seen the CF trim on the M3...its fake CF? anyways the CF trim in my C63 is much better :D (although I believe ours cost x4 more lol)
