Car care-Silly nube question
Guys new Benz owner, non-tech question. How to clean water spots from the chrome trim strips? Long time Lexus owner, not used to chrome trim this hard to clean.

I live in a hard water locale where water spots are a PITA - they etch everything and are hell on the clear bra. Here's something I saved from eHow but haven't tried yet, but it makes a lot of sense.
Combine softening agents. Place several drops of the dishwasher rinse agent on a new fabric softener sheet. Apply to the chrome in a circular pattern. Cover the affected area several times. Rinse and repeat. Use a wet paper towel to rinse off the chrome. Use a dry paper towel or a microfiber cloth to dry and buff the fixture. If the shine has not returned, repeat the process until satisfied.
