What do you guys think? Is it an easy fix like the seller is making it out to be?

Obviously, there is a reason why the insurance paid off this car. Base on the pictures there is a bunch of stuff going on underneath the car. Prepare to add another 15k at least on top of his price to make repairs and the idea of carrying a salvage title because some buyers just won't look at salvaged cars specially in this type of cars. But if you make this a keeper and make it like a project car, it might work. You will definitely have head aches on this one. Just my c63¢! Good Luck!

You can make her a super Drag *****, just change those wheels. Not a bad deal @ all if you going to keep her.

Stay away from salvaged high end vehicles. Aside from the visul damage, there could be damage to the electrical/tech. Plus, you could buy an '09 C63 w/o a salvage title for about what this would cost you after repairs. Then there is the headache of making this car street legal. It isn't complete, so there is no way that they have had it inspected. Any salvage vehicle that has been restored has to be inspected by the DMV.
Work has already been done to disguise the severity of the collision. There's a reason they didn't finish it in an effort to "bank" on this "deal".
The *****ty part is, someone will buy this car, finish it, and then "bounce" it's title to a new state to remove the "Salvage" designation (happens a lot with auction vehicles). Then some poor unsuspecting sap will pick it up a couple grand less than retail and not ask too many questions due to the apparent "deal".
Forget about this one and the headaches it would bring.

I personally wouldn't buy it. There area lot of signs of bent main chasi components on the undercarriage. There are still a lot of other parts that needs replacemet and paint plus all the labor involve on strighting the chasi. Additionally you will always carry the salvage title with you wich depreciate the value dramatically.
I would rather pay more and get something that wasn't crashed. The only time that I would buy a crashed car or salvage car is if the price is superlow and if the car is like a Mazda miata for $1000 or something like that(in case you had a Miata that you needes spare parts), that is just an example.

Engine front cradle is RIPPED open and that bolts directly to the frame. To do that much damage I guarantee the frame is bent. Someone slammed that thing into a curb. Piece of junk wouldn't touch it with a 10 foot pole. That car should be parted out.

my wife bananas! :D
dont do it. Insurance companies usually only salvage when the $$ to fix outweighs the price to replace. If the C63 has only those 'minor' issues... no way would the insurance company write it off.

Its pretty much being sold for what you could buy it for and completely part it out.
Take about 10K off that price and you could make some money buying it and parting it out.... but they know this already...

Looks like it is mostly bottom-end susp damage. The front unibody section doesn't appear to be too badly damaged because the gaps between the hood/L & R Fenders/L & R doors appear fine and there is no buckle on the roof. The only may you can make this work is if YOU owned the bodyshop.
