Car wont start with keyless go or manual key

Car wont start with keyless go or manual key

All electrical functions are working but when you go to start the car, a "click" noise comes from the engine and then the info screen (mph gauge etc..) goes blank, then resets. All electrical components work, but the friggin car wont start??? Are we talking failed ignition here?? Anyone ever have this problem?

Dead battery in key most likely, happened in my C55 a long time ago. I replace them out every 6 months now.

Yeah, this happened to my car while it was at Weistec. Seemed like a real PITA, but they got it handled. It's the ignition interlock that just seems to go bad. Apparently it's pretty common.
