Petro those wheels require no spacer and are about as perfect as you'll get with a 17" rim. I hooked him up with them and they are the same ones I have on my car now. They are an OEM knockoff wheel.

And for only 220 shipped to my door!! Thanks man.

BTW, just got back from the track. Best run was 11.98 at 117mph, 60ft was 1.8. I only got three runs in cause of the stupid rain. The Hooisers with 18lbs would dead hook. I need more practice and to play with the launch rpms to get the 60 down some more.

Before everyone thinks thats slow... For comparison, my friend in the Viper (Full exhaust, tune, intake, throttle body) had a best run of 11.97 @ 120mph. Also there was a Z06 out there, but not sure what he had done to it... The best he could run was 12.18 @ 118mph. Me and the Viper were the only guys to break into the 11s... There was also some more vettes, super charged chargers, that new camaro with the supercharged engine and some SRT8 jeeps stock running 13.5 with AWD.

I also did some 0-60 runs, before the race gas tune, the best I could get with the hooisers on and a dead hook was 4.2, after race gas and tune, 3.8.

I had about 170-200lbs taken out of the car too btw.

Trying to arrange to rent the track to practice more or ill be at the next street legals on fridays...

If all the others were in the 13's then your time is actually pretty good, nice representation for AMG!

Does anyone know how much rolling diameter of the rear tires will affect MPH??

IE: What will 0.5 inch do ? Im wondering if I should run a taller tire next time.

Those are 25.7 overall diameter. IMO 26" is optimal for our cars.

Going taller will only slow you down on the big end and really won't help the 60' that much if any.

Great runs for the elevation!

I found a post from same time of year but when the car was stock and my times at that track were 13.5 @ 106mph.

Will the scan tool we have clear that code? I've never tried but if so it only costs $99 and well worth the expense in the long run.
Our version can't but Mike at PRS has one that can. Won't do you any good since your front seats arent very likely to ever go back in! I do remember Josh saying something about being able to permanently delete all the error codes including the lighting ones.

Thanks for the info.

What model are they?

I'm looking to go to a 17" for track use.

Hahahahahahahaha. You kill me Keith. Did you ever get the driver seat SRS codes sorted out? I have the hardware fully patched and I can send you the info if you want to hit the button one less time, every time... Haha.

And the fogs and side markers are just resistors. 25watt/25ohm for the side markers and 50watt/6-8ohm for the fogs. Bridge the circuit with them and you're done. Don't even need the bulbs or sockets.

Josh
