Not sure yet. If we stick with the same format as last time, the group ride will probably start around 5pm then we'll shoot for dinner at 6:30pm or 7pm depending on the route.

I never ordered one. I was actually taking my 2011 C300 in for my A service last week, and was standing around talking to one of the floor guys about a C63. After talking to him for a while I decided to trade in my C300 and upgrade to a C63. I always had a hard time justifying spending that much on a car, but I finally said "**** it" and went ahead with getting one. I dont regret a thing!! They found a Magnetite Black sedan that was fully loaded sans the LSD option. They traded a black SL55 to Walnut Creek mercedes to get the C63 for me.
LOL I live in Walnut Creek and I think I seen that car there in the show room..I was interested in the Black 63 coupe they had, but opt to order a 2013 to my specs......I'm sure I'll see you on one of the Bay area Runs...

Cool! What was your impression of driving in the rain? Were the conditions like that the whole time? Judging by the hood, it looks like you were in the SL.

They let us drive the C, SL, and SLS out on the track. We also drove the E and CLS class as well. It was dry for the first few runs, then the rain picked up. We had to drive new lines in the rain. Instructor mentioned that the rain brings the rubber out from ground on the original lines and is more slick. The new rain lines were wider from the apex, but the continental tires did a great job. I rode in a hot lap in the rain in a CLK BS and some of the other students were in the C BS.

ya i rode in the c 63 bs!!!!! the rain wasnt no problem!! u just have to counter steer when ever losing traction. but u only lose traction when u gas it on the a turn when ur not post to be. i learned a lot!

Yup, stay off the dry line when in the wet. You can see the dryline when it is raining on the track, it looks like a path. AVOID!!
