The 997 GT3 RS ran 7.33

I love AMG, have owned 4 of them, and currently have two. That said.
Get the GT3 RS.

he's thinking the 1gen 997..... which still is at 100,000! 997 2nd gen about 130 -140.... around the same price for the bs i ordered.... but i think they would both lose between 10,000- 15,000 a year depending on km's and condition...

The GT3 is also a better performer.

The GT3 is the better performer in the hands of a better driver. Occasional drivers are very likely to have faster laps in a Black Series and I don't think the OP will ever be a "junkie". HPDE's are filled with P cars, many being passed by lesser cars up until you get to the red group. Showing up in a MB is always a novelty and a conversation starter!

No question the BS is no slouch. It can hold its own against a BS. More so if you have a bad lap or the GT3 driver is not as experienced. Thats the beauty of racing! I would love to see a good 20 lap Sebring showdown between these two cars. Screw the laptimes. Lets see who crosses the finish first.

The BS would be king of the streets tho. IMO, the BS looks better and it definitely looks to be way more comfortable than the GT3.

2011 GT3RS, C63 AMG
Look at the new value of a black series and see how much they sell for after a few years.
Performance side, there is no discussion about. Not to say steering feedback, driving pleasure.
In my perspective a 3800 lbs car is not a track car, even though it can handle the duty for a few laps.
I have a GT3RS and my main use is track, but I'm putting more and more street miles as the car is really street friendly, and really fun.
Yesterday night I went for a night drive with my dog.
BS is for sure an amazing looking car, but between both is a no brainer.
997.2GT3RS for sure.
