Setting to always start car in S mode?

Setting to always start car in S mode?
I've tried looking through the forums, but am unable to find an answer.

Is there a setting or some other way to have your car always start in S mode?

You can't, it will always reset back to C. Some say if you shut off in M mode it will go to S on the next start, but I tried it and it didn't work.

ive heard that the 2008 and/or 2009 model did this but they nixed it after that.

Same here 2009. But for some reason the "S" quickly turns to an "M"....varoom.

2009 C63, 2000 ML 430, 1994 Del Sol Vtec
2009 for me, stays in S if turned off in S, stays in C if turned off in C. However, when you turn it off in M it goes to C. :\

I recently discovered after my wife has been driving the car it was starting up in S mode. Hmm...

I've been wanting this for the traction control too. It's goes off everytime I get in it. Wish it could just default to off on startup.
