At the track his car runs even with stock z06's what u think about roll?

Thats the one. 2009 and above got a bigger dry sump increasing the capacity to 2.5 qt.
I don't know about the old lady going to church though. LOL. The car is a pain in the *** to drive to be honest. Not the worst car Ive driven, my 66 Chevelle takes that easily.
The ZR1 in the hands of a good driver will easily beat a Z06. As expected though considering how much more HP the ZR1 has. I believe the best time is 10.4 1/4 mile out of the box. 10.7 for the Z06. Both bone stock on drags

Neither are original. Both track cars.
Chevelle has:
Engine: ZZ572/720R
Exhaust: Super Comp headers
Tranny: Turbo 400 4000 stall
Gear: 4.10
My charger has a
440 with a 727 tranny. Manual valve body, reverse pattern 3 speed auto. 3500 stall. B&B slap shifter.
Hooker as well. Edelbrock carb and intake. ect ect...

Stick with the C6 Z06 for now or get a C6 ZR1.
I am pretty amazed myself with the Z06. Its my first Vette and I have always wanted one. It has surely exceeded my expectations and I haven't even modded it yet. Get it you wont regret it.

Sold a c6 Z51 when I got the c63. It had long tubes, exhaust, intake & tune. It was probable as fast as the MB. I have driven a zo6 and know it is a lot quicker. I got a little discusted with the quality after a couple of years. Lots of little,annoying things started to fail. But I am a GM man at heart---first fast car was a 69 Z in 1977.

Your comparing a Z06 that is 31xx lbs with 470+whp sae. Against my c63 which is 39xx lbs with less 430whp. Thats at least 900lbs difference. A good 8-9mph faster then my c63. I knew I was going to get raped. Propain bring out your C63.

Headers + Tune + LW Mods vs Z06. The C63 pulls much harder with those mods and it took much more to overtake it.

You can see the difference though. You got a 1 car jump in both races. Hagi and I were a close start. By the time I was shifting into 4th against Hagi my tail was at his front fender. By the time I was shifting 4th against you I was 2 cars ahead of you. Dont forget I also made up the 1 car jump and all the lost momentum too. I figure if you and I had an even start like I did with Hagi you would have been 4 cars back shifting into 4th. If I am able to start in my power band in 1st (Soon as I get drags) You would be 6 cars back going into 4. You can even see the difference when I race Hagi from 45 mph instead of 40. By the time I shift 3rd im ahead.

It's one thing to beat a car, when both start at the very same time. It's quite another when one car leaves first, has to be reeled in, and is then walked. Takes a MUCH quicker car to do that.
