Eurocharge Tune!!!
Hey guys and gals, i just had my car Eurocharge tuned Saturday. All i can say is wow!!! Barry and Mike showed up at my place and did the tune in my driveway Saturday night at about 11:30pm. I headed on the highway after the tune and immediately a big smile came on my face. I did not stop driving until the tank almost went empty from a full tank. I did not think i could burn a full tank in a night of spirited driving![naughty](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/naughty.gif)
As you can tell, i am very happy with their new version of the tune. C mode on the car is nice with much crisper shifts that you can actually feel when you get on it. S mode is a pure beast with traction off, a contant pull through the power band shifting must faster than i thought from a tune. My car is still learning shift points and can only get better once everything is settled in. M mode was a little difficult when i didnt have the tune done because i would have to time the shift, and would usually not get all of the RPM alotted to me or over rev sometimes and that's just bad
Now i have much more control in M mode because the shift is much faster. Still learning in M mode but it's coming along.
I am very happy with the Eurocharge tune and my hat goes off to Barry and Mike for doing a great job at keeping us modders with a big smile on our faces. I would recommend these guys to anyone wanting do a tune. If your still on the fence about getting a tune, i would invite any one in the Toronto area to take it for a drive. You will feel what i'm trying to describe but if you break it you bought it
.
Great job guys and thanks for all your help.
Peter
P.S.
I will be in touch about the headers and pully, as soon as i can hide the money from the wife

I can't say enough about these guys. Mike and Barry are awesome to deal with. This is not customer service, this is ABOVE and BEYOND customer service. To have guys like this in the business is very reassuring to customer.
@BO
it's the new tune Eurocharge is offering...ecu wasn't touched. Sorry, cracked open.

Speaking for your counterparts in Houston:
Jerry is phenomenal!!! Eurocharged does a great job in Houston, TX. Jerry and Jay keep a clean shop and even cleaner work. I can understand your experience. Every time that I have been there, it has been a joy and experience. They are also not bashful about letting you see all of the works and steps involved. I would recommend, to anyone, a Eurocherged tune. If you live in Texas and within a drive to Eurocharged, please look them up and go visit.

I'm curious about the effects to shift quickness and the vehicle sound.
Without changing the TCU, I wonder how shift quickness is altered?
I can understand a change in sound at WOT (more air from larger TB opening) but I'm surprised it changes the tone of the cold start and/or idle. You'd think idle and start are idle and start...with or without a tune.
Not doubting the changes at all, just merely curious.

The ecu does also control part of the shifting! The idle sound is also increased from the same principle with the throttle body as well as some of the tuning maps!
We constantly have people tell us that it shoulds like they added an aftermarket exhaust post tune!
