Yes I believe we did change the headbolts. I will double check with James when I pickup the car, but yes I think they were installed even though it's not on the Facebook link.

Good peace of mind with the boost. I wonder if JSP changed his or not? Remember he had issues with the engine afterwards and didn't elaborate?

The car is an absolute monnnnnnnster!!! I will take some audio of it starting up. Talked to James and they will probably do a writeup next week, but I will try to get some video/audio posted in the mean time. The car just feels like a wrecking ball, and with the akrapovic slip ons, the tone of the exhaust couldnt be sicker!!! Huge thanks to ACG, James, J and Assan who worked on the car and all the dudes a Weistec for their help!!!

That's awesome. Which header/mid section do you have?

Matt,
Congrats on your new found power!!!

Did you have the MBH headers and mids before the S/C install or add them as part of the install?

I'm trying to clarify that you have the Weistec S/C/tune, MBH headers/mids with Akropovic exhaust and have 472RWHP, correct?

ENJOY!!!!

If this was on the other dyno it would've been around 515. Jim's car is at about 480hp on the ACG dyno.

I had an 09 C63 with MBH headers, mid pipes, tune, and ROW air boxes. My best pull on the ACG dyno was 439 rwhp.

I have a similar setup on my 2011 and put down 445whp on ACG's Mustang Dyno. So unless it's been recalibrated recently, 472whp seems a bit low with the addition of a supercharger.

Can you post the dyno graph and AFR so we can take a look?

They did recently recalibrate the dyno. Here is a graph of the dyno from last year w/o the supercharger from the Dyno Jet last Summer - and then the interim (NOT final) graph I received from earlier this week from James prior them finishing up the car. I dont have the AFR numbers, but even if one doesnt take the actual numbers as Gospel, the reading from the car with MBH headers, ACG tune, Exhaust from the Dyno Jet (around 440) vs. the baseline reading from the same mods with the Mustang - the delta in my opinion is impressive regardless of whether I gained horsepower using the DynoJet or Mustang dyno numbers.

Thanks!!! The car is frighteningly fast. I've never seen other cars move over from the left lane so quickly! We definitely need to get together soon!

Thanks Matt for sharing the info. The recalibration explains a lot, and it sounds like the next time I dyno there I will be very disappointed.

Enjoy your new monster!

Believe me, I was surprised too. I'm like, wait, my last dyno had 440hp and I only gained 30 something hp? But then seeing the baseline for this latest dyno made more sense. At the end of the day, it's how the car drives and feels that matters. ACG has been hella swamped, but a more in depth analysis will follow.

Apparently on this particular dyno, a C63 with MBH LT's, mids, Akra exhaust, and a Stage 2 tune, only makes around 380 rwhp. As the OP points out, it's the delta that matters...
