As far as sports cars go, Benz doesn't even produce a car that touches a GT3. I think it's one of the best cars available today, at any price.
On the other hand, the C63 has a better powerband, more storage, and fits three (3) chicks. The C63 can be your only car, the GT3 would be a stretch.

I have been in both a GT3 RS and a BS on the track and as much as I love the BS, it is no where near the car that the GT3 RS is. I think the BS is the "better" daily driver but at a track, the GT3 RS is simply amazing... beautiful car, amazing choice and I'm jealous.

Is that the GT3 RS 4.0, if so, there was a white one on saturday at the tracking event I attended and it is one hell of a car, it is loud and sounds great on the long open stretches, and it is one of the only Porsches that its looks actually do dignify what it is all about, a race car. Congrats....and I love that very unique blue.

So the time came with NO answer from MB canada about my order, I found a 2011 gt3 rs with 360km !!!! It came from new found land and was transported last thursday... As soon as I saw it I fell in love. Not a scratch or a chip .... I pulled the trigger 
right away ... It was well price and for the extra 10 g I got an RS ... I called my mercedes dealer and was told I might lose my deposit !! I started laughing and then talk to the GM and was able to get my deposit back ... Good service. Then they called me back and said I would of got a BS in nov. I can't wait for it and feel like I made the right choice ..... What yall think overall would you do the same ??

No I would have never done the same. Sure gt3 rs is a very nice car but its not even close to c63 black series in terms of looks and exclusivity. At least thats my opinion. You made a great choice! The car is stunning and it really is a timeless classic that will never age. Someone else ate the first bite of depreciation so don't worry about future valuation. Besides there is a real possibility that the 991 GT3 will be PDK only which will enhance the value of yours. Not sure if you stated your intentions to track it or not or how much experience you have. But if you do and you don't have 911 seat time, please be patient! The car has massive potential but the learning curve is different than front engine cars. I have met many frustrated P car drivers that expected to be the next Hurley Haywood right out of the gate.

Color is gorgeous and the combo with gold is just beautiful, couldn't make a better decision.
While the BS is a ''exclusive'' car, the RS is way beyond. Only who drives them can tell.
Now get it set up and bring it to the track, where it belongs...

Amazing car. While I personally chose to get a BS, believe me when I say I considered all options within the price range. I test drove the Porsche last year. Yes, by far a much better track car, and also comfortable enough to be a DD. The BS won me over for a number of reasons. I will only get to see a track two or three times a year, so I wanted something that was more of a DD than the Porsche. I'm not a big guy, but I felt the BS was more comfortable and not so cramped inside. I also preffered the bottom end torque of the BS over the top end power of the Porsche. Both cars have their pros and cons depending on the situation. Regardless, you got your hands on one amazing machine. From one enthusiast to another, I'm happy for you. Congratulations and enjoy in good health.

VERY good choice, brother. I would have done exactly the same thing... in fact I would have paid any extra $40k (aust) for the RS! ...then again, I have a HUGE soft spot for Porsches!
