Got Pulled Over!

^ And once I was walking to the supermarket with my mom when i was seven and a group of people got off their porch and started harassing her for her purse. We ran off and called 911 and they drove us home in their cruiser.
Not all cops are douches, not all cops are saviours. You're just lucky you've never been in a situation you really really needed one.
Is anyone else seeing circles?

I like this quote! Well said! I know we give police a hard time because we love pushing the limits of our cars but they do have other responsibilities -I just wish they would focus on helping those that need it most! (Not to say that some of us on here could use a good kick in the butt at times)

I can unproudly say I've been pulled over and given tickets more than 16 times in my life. some tickets were legit, others were questionable. I've also been pulled over because I was driving a black car with a wing which fit the profile of a getaway car in a shooting. (because there are so few black cars with wings in so cal!)
It is always frustrating when they do pull you over, but if you are polite, act in a non aggressive manner, and don't volunteer info as stated previously, most of the time the police can be pleasant and give you the ticket, or they might even let you go with a warning. it can happen.
telling the leo he's an ***, or acting like one yourself will only get you problems. and no I am not white. lol.

I was going to try and pull you over for still having that "3" on the side of your car... I saw you driving on Homer Watson this afternoon around 5:15, I was going the other way in the black C63

!! I wanted to pull it off but haven't had time to wash the car. It would look pretty dumb with an outline of a 3 in the dirt with all this rain we've had! -not that it looks a little childish to begin with ahahaha

I have a blown 2008 E63 that is putting easy 600 to the wheels. I have been pulled over 7 times in the past 1.5 years. All 7 times they have released me with a warning and "small-talk".
1) They all wanted to see the car up close.
2) They all wanted to know how much it's pushing.
3) They all wanted to know what model it is because it's not everyday you see W211 E63's on the road.
4) They all insisted that I slow down.

That's highly unfortunate but also seems sort of unbelievable. Do you live in a particularly lower-class neighborhood where a car like a C-Class would stand out so sorely? Do you spend a lot of time in neighborhoods where such cars would be considered unusual and a reason for concern?
Because the way you're making it sound is that these cops are hating on you because they are jealous of your cars. Highly, highly, highly unlikely.
To your last story, maybe they are just racist? IDK. That's a nice car for a construction worker. I always tell my boss that my car is way too nice for my job title too.
Sweet rims btw.

Suggesting their prey should comply and be thankful for being illegally detained, or have to watch what they say or they'll be punished proves they often can't control themselves.
All work is honorable, with exceptions.
