Hate to burst your bubble but the typical JB4 with exhaust bolt-ons won't pull an M3.
Also hate to be the "fantasy modder" here but the M3 with VF supercharger kit is the fastest damn car I've seen. Mind you it's an additional $15k so don't expect to see many. The next M3 is coming with force induction stock, finally, but IMO it's looking to be the ugliest 3 series yet

I don't want to speculate, M5Board.com does a lot of good "comparison" videos.
Here is a stock C63 going up against the M3 with a bit of forced induction. The outcome is a bit obvious but should put things into perspective.

A bolted/tuned M3 DCT traps 115-116, which is a hair faster than a stock C63. Tuned C63s are another story though.

my friend has a 2011 dct m3 and my other friend has a stock 2012 335i from a dig up to 90 the m3 is spelling turbo smoke.
i raced supercharged m3 and non and full bolt on, and i raced all types of 335 trust me 335 are faster i know 1st hand.

i got confused about what we were talking about.
stock m3 and stock 335 or a 335 with chip from a mid to high roll the m3 will win. from a dig m3 has no chance to pass it untill 90ish i seen it and
m3 is dct and 335 auto xi

M5Board does a proper job of comparisons opposed to the other crappy YouTube street races out there with bad drivers and cars that probably lack maintenance, as the M5Board guys have a lot of "funds" to keep them in top shape.IMO it's also stupid to compare a C63 to M3. you 100% rite about the trach street thing. for straight line AMG holds it down for twist and turns M all the way.
i had a few BMW's and one was a M. lack of TQ is what killed it lets hope the new ones will be better since they getting FI.

The attitude of 335 drivers makes want to vomit, specially the ones my age. They buy them used at 25K, thinking that they have the best car around and spending their time trying to race everyone around. This is how I see BMW and 350z drivers.

It's the best when you pit 335i vs M3 drivers because they think speed is everything. The 335i's are faster than the M3's around here haha.
They think they handle better than a Porsche 996TT and can out-accelerate an F430. It's ridiculous.

But it's been a while since then.
