My wife hated her black car...its not black anymore

The pink and gold SLK on the homepage a few days ago was disgusting.
This, it's just different. Maybe not to the AMG crowd, but as the owner of just another C300 it definitely looks unique.
Though I wouldn't do it. I can appreciate the work that went into it!
2 thumbs up from me!

Not a fan of the color but if he didn't tell me it was plastidipped I wouldn't have known. Looks like they did a good job on it.

So like the title says, my wife hated that her SLK was black. Unfortunately, the only non black SLK55 in the country was in LA and was 12K more than what we payed sans the shipping costs. If she wanted the car, it had to be black. I was doing a little research on wrapping the car and came across plastidip. I found a youtube video of a guy named Fonzie using plastidip on the entire car
After digging around a little more, I see he runs a company named plastidipyourcar dot com and he seems to have perfected this method. I noticed that the company was located near me in Coral Springs FL, so I decided to give them a call. I brought the car over there and they showed me some examples of their work and explained how the company began. The guys that work there are top notch, they made me feel completely comfortable about the process and I never felt pushed to give it a try. After finding out that the cost would be 1/4th of a wrap and it is fully reversible, I decided to give it a shot. I dropped the car off and waited anxiously for the results. Well, here they are. Oh, and they will be coming out with a satin finish in a few months. I might try that on the C.http://www.dipyourcar.com/
I would be happy if I was given a new Corolla, let alone a new AMG.
I like my paint shiny..I don't get the whole Plastidip / matte black finish...but so long as you like it.
Its gunmetal

One last note... if you plasti dip your car ... buy a power washer to remove it ... makes life a 1000 times easier LOL
