In her defense, this is the first time she has had any Car related issues .... no tickets, no door ding, hell not even a curbed rim ....

yikes!!! I had my HREs powdercoated and two months later see a rear rim with some rash. VDOT was repaving several roads near the house and the transition in new lane/old lane grounded down caused the edge to catch....

funny you should say that ... i've only seen 2-3 around ... I have however seen a guy drive a matte black C63BS .... guy kept trying to go head to head on 66 at 1am ... I mean i would have loved to see how my car holds up to a BS but i had 3 other people in the car ... including an infant, my niece, so I wasn't about to start driving like a mad man.

The funny thing is that we both had temp tags ... which more than likely means he just got it a few days ago ... and was beating the living Crap out of it... oh well if you can afford the car ... you can afford to replace it

We should do a DC Metro meet or something!

Don't even get me started on VA and VDOT.. specifically the construction on 95 for the HOT lanes and around the Wilson Bridge..

The construction company in charge does an absolutely ****ty job of cleaning up the debris from road milling.. I drive from Annapolis to Springfield everyday.. I have about 10 to 20 decent size paint chips in my hood (I stopped counting the chips and tar on the bumper... it was making me sad) from debris being kicked up... and the dump trucks that don't cover their loads spilling crap all over the road.. and it is not like I can even avoid it.. My only other option is drive straight through DC down 295.. which in of itself is not much better..

DC Metro area hates our cars...

My family was in town and my wife took the day off to help my folks get the house ready for everyone ... coming up the driveway to my folks place, which is like a T, she turned left and hit the metal step of my folks RV which she was trying to park next to..... the crazy thing is that when i looked at where it happened, if the Slide-out of the RV was 5 inches lower, she would have ripped the hood off too LOL

she claims that it's because the step was out ... but still she was way too close ... in her defense it's kind of a hard hairpin like T and if you don't swing out a bit you have to do a double take just to get into the spot.

i love my wife but i too get slightly worried when she takes the C63 out. She's a great and safe driver, absolutely no problems but still lol.

however, I've noticed lately she's coining the term 'eat my dust people' more and more often

I sometimes let my wife drive when we are together ... but usually we get about 2-3 blocks down the road and I have to get her to pull over and let me take the wheel .... i just don't like feeling like i could get there faster if I had decided to walk!

I only let the girls drive after we drink. As long as they get the DUI instead of me I'm fine with it. lol But I don't let anyone drive my car if I'm not in the passenger seat.

Well although I personally am against drinking and driving ..... If I was to do it ... i'd take me driving drunk Vs my wife driving in the same condition .... heck i'd almost prefer driving tipsy vs her driving sober either way ... if I drink ... i cab or Metro! But that's just me

I decided to fly ... found a WICKED cheap flight ... and I felt ashamed to drive the car with the war scars ... I've been reluctant to drive the car since the mishap ... thankfully I have access to another vehicle as an alternative ... and it's fun to drive too.

Fortunately my wife hates fast cars and can't drive a stick. The Turbo is safe and she only drives the C63 in dire emergency situations (like when I've been drinking and need to get home).
