C63 On Order

Most of us on the Forum are quick to alert each other when a Dealer has proven themselves to be scandalous (and rightly so). So, I find it uniquely refreshing to be able to tell you about a Dealership that has stood out from all the rest. I apologize if it seems long, but it's worth the read... and at the end of my praises: a Minor Miracle.
Let me start out by saying that I am not the easiest customer to deal with, I can flat out be a pain in the posterior region especially when I become impatient. The Folks at Mercedes of North Olmsted Ohio (Collection Auto Group) have been nothing short of Saints in dealing with me. I decided to trade in a 2012 BMW X6 with low mileage after I decided I wanted a faster more enjoyable ride.
It just so happens that living in my apt. building was a very energetic young man whom the dealership has been grooming to be a first class salesman. This young man: Garrett Blaha had spent some time in convincing me to jump over to my first ever Mercedes (a C63 Coupe). After a short test drive and a bit of Garrett's youthful tenacity, I was quite ready to pull the trigger. Note: This kid is one to watch, he's likely to own the place before he's 30![Wink](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/wink.gif)
I was then introduced to Scott Ragland (Sales Manager) who tried to find me a car all over the USA to trade. He tried various dealers and met with no success due to my pickiness and requirement of "No test drive miles". Scott, offered me a deal I couldn't refuse... so, obvioulsy I ordered my car (my specs) at a great price (which made it easy). Scott was a gentleman and patient with me during the search / ordering of my C63.
I then had the great pleasure of dealing with Pete Mapp, General Manager (after Scott was away on vacation). Pete is an extremely pleasant man who is easily accessible with an "Open Door Policy" which is very unusual for a GM. Pete tolerated every question, equipment change and issue I brought to his doorstep. It's very obvious why he's at the helm. He's probably my all time favorite person in the luxury automobile industry.
Which brings me to Bernie Moreno, Owner of Collection Auto Group and the leader of these great guys. Bernie is always available to a customer with an issue or question. He doesn't hide from customers in a back office... he sits right on the showroom floor in an office with a glass wall and is easily approachable. He has put together a first class team and can recognize talent when he sees it in his friends and employees... Bravo Bernie.
My first Mercedes (a 2012 C63 Coupe) is now in my hands. The Minor Miracle i mentioned was pulled off by Scott Ragland. After getting on the phone with a rep from Mercedes, Scott was able to have my car on a ship after only TWO DAYS ! The car went from B5 to C2 in two DAYS FLAT... Unbelievable!!! If you really want to buy that C63 and want to enjoy every moment of the experience, I highly recommend all the guys at Mercedes North Olmsted Ohio. Your money will be well spent and you'll never regret spending it.

Thanks ! I'm normally happy with a stock car and being that this is a P31, probably not. Maybe an exhaust system later on.
BTW North Olmsted had in Stock:
2012 C63 Coupe
2012 E63
2012 S63
I believe the Red Black Series that was in my pic was just sold.

Wow, beautiful car.. Loving the dark blue color w/red calipers!
And that is one heck of a dealership.. Very impressive collection of exotics under 1 roof.

Congrats on on super deal & a rare color! How's the comparison to your BMW X6? Don't forget to break her in gently for the first 1k. Enjoy!

C63 On Order
The X6 has it's place in the pecking order... The only thing that made me unhappy was the Turbo Lag. I was able to sense that brief hesitation under hard acceleration. It's not a bad vehicle by any means, just wasn't working for me. C63 has that instant response, surprisingly good ride, GREAT sound system (way better than X6) and is quiet when highway cruising. CONS: Seats could be a bit more comfortable and BMW has a better interface for NAV, etc.
I put 550 Highway miles and varied RPM's between 2K-4K keeping it under 85 (Difficult to do, let me tell you). About 1300 more miles til oil and differential fluid change... Then open season !

A beautiful combination.
Love the blue, & the interior colour with the woodgrain as well as looking really nice, compliments the exterior perfectly.
Did you option L.S.D.?
A lovely car. Pickles.

IMO - Limited Slip should not be an option on this car... it should be included as Standard ! Yes, I have it.
