Uneven wear?
How does this look to you guys?
I had my car aligned last month when I had my tires replaced but it looks a little uneven to me.
I'm waiting for my PSS to arrive, should I have the car aligned again?

A bitt too negative on the camber. I'll PM a number to you where you can Contact my alignment guy.
Let him know mike with the C63 sent you. People at the dealer get their own personal cars done with this guy. And the you don't get the "Mercedes Tax" that comes with our cars.
Also check the driver side number it looks like some overspray is on there, might want to hit it with a clay bar.

That's quite a bit of difference, and indicates more of an issue with toe than with camber.
Negative camber wears out the insides more, but not to that extreme.

The rear toe is way too aggressive on the c63.
I have mine set at 0.20 degrees. It was at 0.50 before.
Toe is the degree of the tire turned in towards the center of the car. It gives high speed stability. But it also is constantly scrubbing your rear tears like sand paper against the road all the time.
A few member have reduced their toe considerably and found that their rear tire life doubled

Alright, thanks Merc63 for the info. I just learned something new. I don't know what's my current rear toe. I guess I'll find out when I'll visit the guy that Mike recommended above.
Thank you all!

Too much toe in will cause the inside edge of the tire to wear faster than the outside. However some toe in is needed for high speed stability and cornering. Camber (usually negative) means the tire, when veiwed from behind, has top center line of tire sittimg father inward from the center line of the suspension and the bottom sits farther outward. This is measured in degrees and most street cars have between -1 to -1.5 degrees camber. This causes more contact with the inner edge of the tire than the outer edge. Negative camber is great for handling as it sets up the tire to maintain complete road contact in turns. However too much negative camber on the street will also cause the inside edges of the tires to wear faster. As you lower the car the wheel arches upwards creating even more negative camber. Once again good for handling but not good if you lower you car for street driving. However since the C63 has no rear camber adjustment, it is what it is (unless something in the suspension is bent). Too me it looks like you have too much toe in on one side of the car.

Soo much tread left on those. I sure hope you finish them off before the new rubber goes on.
This is when I replaced mine to give you an idea of inner wear from camber.

Oh Jason, don't worry about me lol. I will only change them after I finish them in a big parking lot. Hahah, I should've taken pictures of the tires that I replaced last month lol. I had to cut the rubber with scissors every 5 blocs lol

Rear camber is not adjustable.

do you have an LSD in your car? My tires looked exactly like yours because I didnt have an LSD, so everytime i floored it or gunned it, the tire wear/spin was always uneven. If i remember correctly, without an LSD, most of the power goes to the back right wheel so its the one that will spin a lot more and faster than your left. I remember i went through almost 2 back right tires all while using the same rear left.
My solution, i bought a quaife lsd and now the tire wear is exactly the same on both tires and a lot more even, not to mention the acceleration and launch is a lot better

I'm not gonna have an LSD installed, it's not worth it for me. My car depreciates so fast that I'm not planning to keep it more than 6-12 months (I put 3k miles a month)
I'm fine with it though.
