OBDII Handheld Programming Tool
Just providing info for you guys:
I finally got my OBDII programmer from Jerry @ Eurocharged, Houston. All I can say is that it is incredible to have is power in my hands. Jerry made it completely easy and loaded several different "tunes".
It is loaded with a factory file, a 91 octane, and a 93 octane file. It is easy and a breeze to switch from file to file.
If anyone was thinking about it, do it. It is a no brainer, especially because the ECU and getting under the hood and back is eliminated.
Thank you so much Jerry!! You are a wiz.

Hmm.. screw the tunes.. I would be curious to know if we could just the programmer to steal the cars![Smilie](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
I bring this up because I work in Information Technology Security... And there was a recent story about thieves stealing BMW's with smart keys in under 3 minutes. There is a blind spot in the factory security alarm system right in the front corner of the driver door window. Thieves have been breaking it there, connecting the port to a laptop, and programming new keys to the vehicle, then deactivating the alarm and just driving off...

Very interesting!! Anyone know of a fault in our 63's?
And you do pose a very interesting question. But, I do not think the programmer that I have has the capacity to do that.
