I love how so many members here were either previous Evo owners or were able to keep theirs.
I too recently sold my 2005 Evo 8 for my 09 C63. I love this car, but do miss my Evo.

Just an idea!
Did these two renders for a customer earlier, thought of sharing them with you here!

Wheels done in this rendering are our monoblock wheels, MB1 model, forged wheels, titanium graphite finish. A few guys over here have the same and they look real good on the Mercedes-Benz cars.

Apples to oranges
I have yet to take the Merc to the track, but on a road course, I'd still take the Evo. Daily, it's the Merc.

In terms of power, the C63 is a freaking animal. If the Evo is a pit bull, the AMG is a bull. The evo drove like a freaking go kart and I want that feeling back one day but I want rear wheel drive; which means in the future I will be looking for a 997 GT3

However, I can say that I will more than likely keep my C63. It gives me everything I want.

I have an Evo 9 with a BBK full and E85 pushing 445hp on a dynojet. Both cars are fun to drive, different but fun. The best way I can describe the C63 is power right now, as soon as you push on the pedal, you're motoring and it seems like it accelerates forever. In the Evo, the fun happens after 3500 rpms.

We seriously don't know, pics came from the interested customer, we just did the rendering with our wheels on it. Can't really decide on that setup on the red car whether to go with titanium graphite or brushed aluminum, both fit the car like a glove!
