Did I make the right choice??

I know I'm in the MB forum - but I want people's unbiased opinion..

Been looking for a car for a while ..test drove everything there is..
Finally got a good deal on a 2012 C63 AMG with performance pkg and ordered it.
I'd narrowed it down to 4 cars before i made the decision..

E350Coupe 4matic, 535xi, Audi S5 and C63

They're all pretty much the same lease payments (within 100 bucks)
Ideally i was looking for an all wheel drive coz of the weather here. Couldn't really go against C63 after i drove it ..even though it might be a horrible car for winter, I went ahead..

What do you guys think?

Out of those 4, hands down the C63. The only other one I would even consider is the S5, but I definitely say go for the C63.

A little bias are we LOL

I also think you made the right choice ... I test drove the S5 and the rest of the "s" lineup Audi has to offer and frankly, I found that Audi lost it's SPORTY soul it once had. They all felt dull and lifeless ... But that's just my $0.02s!

Stop whining. Who cares.

It's a lease. You don't even own it. You will be giving it back to big brother in no time.

+1, with winter rubber, you'll do fine in the snow with the C63.

4 completely different driving cars. Before i bought, I drove the C63, S4, S5, Lexus ISF. Never looked back after driving the C63 last. It really comes down to what you want out of your car. The C63 is a torque monster and makes all the others seem tame, IMO. I smile every time I start her up in the morning. Nuff said.
Any car can be driven in the winter, as long as you have the right rubber and stick to basic winter driving rules. You don't need AWD.

Do you have the winter tires on another set of rims? Or do you just swap the tires back and forth.

To answer the question to this thread...obviously yes but we are all biased here.

my wife bananas! :D
Are you suffering from buyer's remorse? besides a 'yes', what could we say? especially on the C63 section of a MB forum

imo, the S5 and C63 are both way ahead of the other two if you are more performance oriented. Then it becomes down to preference between the S5 and C63. If you are into exhaust notes and an abundance of torque... then yes the C63 is your only true option in this group of 4

as for snow...

if they can do it, so can you!

I considered an S5 because of look, awd and the availability of a manual but at the end it did not compare to a c63. The c was a much better drivers car.

i liked the S5 very much too - 2 reasons why i chose C63, the coupe is not ideal when you've 2 kids. Getting in and out of S5 from the back seats ia quite a challenge for anyone about 5.5' tall. The audi dealer here says I've pay to pretty much the sticker price for a 2013 S5 and wait for 3/4 months to get the color I want. And the payment for my C63 is less than the S5!!

Hah. Whether you own or lease, you're still taking it in the rear in depreciation.

With unforseen future gas prices, at least MBZ will be forced to take it back.

Back on topic...I never liked any MBZ products. Always owned BMW Ms and Porsches before. MBZ really stepped it up with the '12 C63 - I'm not aware of a better do-it-all coupe for mild weather locations.

At least here in canada, C63's seem to be holding their value as they're not easily available new. I'm getting mine shipped from across the country.
But who knows wit the rumored twin turbo5.5L engine in 2014, this might be a different story in ayear or 2.
