Cold Start became weak.. Engine problem?
Starting the past 3 days, my car's cold start has become quieter and weak. Before it sound really healthy and loud like "Vroooooooom!!!".. now its just like "Vroom..."
My cold start is about the same as a normal start up now This is quite bothersome because I want that obnoxious loud cold start back
Could it be engine problem? Everything is running fine, sounds normal in low/high speeds, sounds normal in regular start ups.. only the morning COLD start changed dramatically..

Hmm... I honestly don't know then. Cold start sound should be about oil temp and how long the car has been sitting. If everything else feels okay, not much you can do at this point.

OP: If it is warmer than usual up there, then that is normal to have a less "ferocious" cold-start. I posted a thread about this 2 years ago.

Hm, I hope that's the reason too, but it's been hot since last month, and my cold starts were still "ferocious" until 3 days ago. But I guess I shouldn't worry about it too much if my car is running properly?

If your oil temp is still in the hundreds when the car starts its gonna be quiet..dont drive the car for 2 days and you will see a difference in noise when you start it..mine is the same way and we got 100F+ all the time

I agree. But I find the cold start temp to be 80° F.

Unless it's record-breaking hot, I don't think the weather is the issue. Here in the Bay Area, I could start my day in 100ºF heat and end my day in 50ºF evenings. I've had cold starts in both and I'd never had a "weird" issue (knock on wood).
When was your last service and did you do anything different since?

Maybe you should just take your car to the dealership then to see if there are any codes. If not, then leave it overnight (or all day) so that they can see/hear the cold start for themselves.

Dude its totally fine. I think if you let your
Car sit for 10 hours or more you will hear the rumble again from the cold start..Mine is the same way and still runs **** strong..if you wanna clean out your fuel injectors dump a can of seafoam in there to clean it up a bit..

how does the car feel otherwise ... i had the same issue ... i bought the car and when i first started it (OH HELLS YA I'M BUYING THIS!!!) now after owning the car for 3 months ... I noticed it's not as loud as the first month I owned it ... Good news is that it feels as strong as ever on the road ... and I could swear that yesterday it sounded normal again!!!
