I know because our local dealer told me about it, they have one on order, and can't get it in any color but Matte white (which isn't an available color anywhere else). AMG has also confirmed that all Canada MY2013 CBS's are Matte White. If you want Red, you'll have to convince the 2 Red cars in Canada to sell, there's no more Reds coming. I already got mine, it's Black.

Glad it worked out in the end.
Sure was a long and tough road, but in the end it's going to be awesome.

100% sure. These are orders for the Ducati edition that got converted to MY13 orders, so basically orders from last year and not new orders. Check the PL chat from Wednesday, AMG confirmed that the matte white thing is Canada specific for MY13 as well.

Rage2, that gallery of your car pre-wrap has just about put me over the edge for Osbidian Black. Awesome! Looks so sweet. Not to geek out, but do you know what detailing products were used on the paint?

Calgary is terrible for rock chips, so I always get the car in for 3M/wrap right from the dealership.

Just to be clear, when I'm talking about wraps, I'm referring to the clear paint protection films, which is available in normal glossy or matte, and not vinyl. I tried vinyl and it was terrible. Rips and tears easy from rocks, edges curl, and some stains (ie prolonged water exposure in winter) are impossible to remove as they discolor the vinyl itself.

Also have messed around with 996turbo and 997 S, driven 997tt, but for Porsches really prefer the 1998 and earlier cars. This was part of a consolidation maneuver though, becuase I just dont have the time to plinker around that I used to, with two elementary aged boys right now - there is always somewhere to be. So I want something I can drive more often, with modern creature comforts, but also grin factor.
