Been raced many times and strong as heck.. dont be affraid to drive these cars hard and to the limit. Only problem ever was a warn out diff. Replaced with quiafe

Down sizing.. nothing that fun i have mt eye on a Cherokee srt8. I daily a dodge ram now and thinking of dumping both grabing the jeep for a while..

Its a chrysler. Theyll have everything soon. Its such a smooth driving car i think a good mix between fun and usefulness

havn't test driven it, intend to .. but i worry that i would miss cornering ability and german build quality, the jeep will depreciate more dont u think ?? also considering the ZL1 camaro, but would rather pick one up used with 2-5k miles .. pulley, catted header, exhaust, tune .. and thats a 650hp monster

Without the mods, I got $40k for mine on trade 6 months ago with 3k more miles and p30. If that gives you a realistic expectation of the market in terms of trade/private party/msrp. I'm guessing low 40's.

I test drove a 2013 SRT8 for wifey last weekend. Really dug it. Drove smooth and the interior tech features were really impressive - sports updates and news streamed to the dash, ac seats, etc. It pulls hard for an SUV but in stock form will leave you a little disappointed vs the AMG, it lacks that extra "ok this thing really moves" feeling. It was nice but depending on price it may make more sense to get one a year or two old...they felt a bit more like a car, drove super tight, the new one feels huge.

One of the fastest C63's out there. If someone is interested in modding a C63 this car will save them a lot of hassle getting it done.

No idea on price. Probably 40K if it was all OEM. Add another 5-6K for the mods.

If you're gonna do any highway driving, don't get the jeep. 3.70 gears with a 5spd tranny is horrible on the highway....

The thing revs over 3000RPM just cruising at 60mph's....if you think the fuel economy is bad in a C63....load up an SRT8 Jeep and cruise around for half a day

I honestly do not know about the SRT8, my wife however does have the V6 2012 Jeep GC, and I have driven it, obviously it has no power compared to my car, but it is a comfy ride, and does just fine for Me, my wife, our 3 month old, a great dane, a dalmatian, and camping gear for a weekend outing (yes.. we went camping when our child was 5 or 6 weeks old :) ), and this is not a hotel trip.. it is no facilities camping.. you go to the bathroom, you bring a shovel (or a diaper in babies case :) )

I drive only around town prob.havent Drove on the highway for more the 20 min in my caror truck in over a year

I wish or a long weekend.

I have a 2012 Grand Cherokee Limited w/Hemi. It's a very nice cross between a luxury SUV and sport SUV. The SRT8 in my opinion sucks only because of the transmission. As someone else mentioned it needs the 8sp.

I tried to talk to my brother, who lives on Long Island, into getting a C63. But he went in a differenct direction.
Good luck with the sale but 32,000 miles a quarter mile at time is a little rough on the motor..........just kidding.

I forgot to mention, but the SRT8 is rwd only, not 4 wheel :(

I stand corrected, I just went and checked, its the Hennessy tuned one that is rwd only (specifically the $230k version, regular hennessy bolt on and tunes should not affect the stock tranny in the srt8)

Its in great condition. Takin care of well yes it was drag raced.. it has.t been driven allot in the last year i put about 26,000 miles on it before i started racing it. Never an issue other the diff went bad,

I think what's important for prospective buyers to consider is how much care you put into the upkeep of this car. I mean, sure it was raced. But, the other side of the coin is that at every opportunity you were monitoring this car and making sure it held up. Most owners have not examined every inch of this car as closely as you.

If you decide to sell the car with the mods it will take a certain type of buyer to be interested, but I just can't imagine many C63 owners that have put so much time and money into making sure this car runs right.

On a lighter note, I think MB/AMG should thank you for your dedication to helping this platform advance. :y

i would have paid 45K for that. My brother is looking for a new car but I think he is trying to stay around the 40k area. But maybe you can part out the mods to me and sell it stock to him.

Most of you have been through 2-3 sets off tires im on my second and there full of life.. also thinking of maitinence im still on first pair of break pads. I did change when i switched to evo rotors but those were still almost new. Besides going down the travk this thing as been babied and not really driven hardly

Are you going for a 2014 SRT8?

I'm wondering if the rumors are true and they will produce a 570hp supercharged engine. I like a lot of the other changes they're making to the car too. My C63 was my California car and I am very hesitant to drive it in the snow now that I am back in Chicago. If I were to get an SUV I would most likely grab the SRT8. I looked at them a few years ago, but the interior was so cheap looking I couldn't pull the trigger.

I also really like the Performance Pages featuring "timers measuring 0-60 mph, one-eighth mile and quarter-mile runs. Lateral and longitudinal G-forces, steering angle, horsepower and torque output and 60-0 breaking distance are all neatly displayed on the vivid 8.4-inch touchscreen."

That's a quote from the Youtube comments. I wouldn't believe everything you read because I saw this video and still purchased a 2012 Limited JGC. If you do a little due diligence most creditable sources say the results were rigged.

This is my 4-5 Jeep and never had a problem.

LOL, he called it a "yeep." If you want to see how they really perform, do an SRT Driving Experience day. We were taking turns at Thunder Hill at 80+ mph in the Jeep SRT8 and it was our autocross relay vehicle. They were also the fastest mini-drag race vehicles off the line.
