Tire options when lowered with spacers..
It's time for new tires again. Haha, they never last too long!
I've been doing some extensive reseach to find a performance tire that offers some longevity, and it seems I'm right back to the Michelin PSS.
I was highly considering some sticky Toyo R888's this time around but with daily driving the car, 2k miles wasn't going to cut it for a set of rears.
I have a P31 C63 Sedan lowered on H&R springs, with 10mm spacers in the rear. Along with the 17mm pads. Sitting on stock 18's.
Im currently running Michelin PSS 255/35/18 in the rear. I was wondering if I could step up to either 265 or 275's in the rears with out rubbing. 275's seem like a long shot, but the extra rubber would be nice.
Up front I have 235/40/18. Doesn't look like I have much wiggle room to play with, with the 12.5mm spacers. But I'm curious to hear what you guys are running.
Also, I am open to other tire suggestions..
Since I'm getting fronts and rears this time around it would be nice to see how another tire compares to the Michelins I've been running since getting the car.

I'm not lowered and not running spacers yet so take this with a grain of salt but I can't speak highly enough about my Dunlop Direzza ZII Star Specs. I've gotten 8k miles out of mine (daily with a 3mi commute) and the grip is phenomenal for that kind of tread life. Steering response and turn in are amazing as well. 245/40/18 and 275/35/18 fit stock rims without issue. I'm planning on getting HR Springs, 12.5/10mm spacers and RB's stud conversion kit when its in the shop in a few weeks for Service B and don't expect rubbing issues based on a few measurements I've taken.
im going to be running H&R 10mm in the back and 15mm in the front with Stock 19" multi-spoke wheels. I am thinking i ll be needing 37mm length bolts in the back and 40mm in the front. would this be correct?
what bolt length should i be using for 10mm and 15mm spacers?

Where are people getting there extended lugs from - this post from last year when I lookup the ECS part number, the bolts are ball seat non OEM seats so these should not be used on OEM wheels as the taper is incorrect - they are Audi bolts, ECS only has stock length OEM taper lugs. Looks like our are R13 ball seat?
EDIT - did some more reading and looks like ours might be the same as the Audi ball seat, I have some from my s4 so can compare, but the ones in these links appear to be the Audi ball seat bolts even though ECS says they don't fit.
