I am surprised we haven't been able to narrow down who the owner was, yet... I hope its not someone from the forum.

They may have been guesstimating but the black box will be read out if it hasn't already been.

What does Dannette drive now? BTW, I texted your old number to make sure you were ok. Apparently it isn't your number anymore. But it's ok. You and the wife are safe. Sara was worried too.

I remember back in the late 90's, one of my co workers was doing around 100mph at 3am on 295 (in DC) during active construction... a dump truck pulled out in front of him after it has offloaded..

The end result, was they could not identify race or gender of the driver he was so mangled up.

Never mess around in a construction zone, ever.. There are 2 places I do not speed (well below this particular drivers speed, but in general I am doing 20 to 30mph over the limit.. as with most of the other traffic on the DC beltway), construction zones, and school zones, no matter what time of day.. That is just asking for trouble.

My condolences to the widow though.

Sad news. As some already stated, really bad call by the driver especially with wife with him.

I'll say a few things, I myself am guilty of speeding..I get pretty wreckless during the evenings by myself. This could easily have been me or numerous others on this board. We all make bad decisions, and this man paid the ultimate price.

But I can assure you that this guy and his wife were just out having a good time and i'm sure his last few moments on this earth were a blast. I wouldn't want it any other way. It honestly sucks his wife got hurt, I hope she pulls through..

I guess i look at things a bit different..

Sad to say that he passed away unfortunately, but he did go out with a smile on his face. Luckily no other innocent bystanders other than his wife. I hope her injuries aren't severe.

RIP driver and quick recovery to the passenger.

I doubt the brother had a smile on his face when he realized what a grave mistake he made as the car was rolling over with his wife most likely screaming in terror. Cant sugar coat this schit, this isn't some video game where you get to press restart. Dying tragically and nearly killing your loved one in a fking car is no way to leave this earth.

Yes, most of us are guilty of street racing/driving over the limit but, lets keep schit real!!

I'm so upset so ignorrant to be driving that way. I said it the other day, real "drivers" don't pull that crap on a roadway. Sad someone had to wake up someone's mom or dad and tell them that their loved one is dead or on the way to a hospital via life flight.

And yes guilty the car's black box will tell you how fast and at what speed the airbags deployed the G's pulled ect... Also a traffic homicide investigator and est speed and impact. They do that all day.

Are you guys for real? Do you really think that the guy was in normal condition to do that? Think about it. He has family, he made enough money to buy C63 and probably a house and other things, he is more successful than most of the society he lives in. I am sure he has brain. He drives C63 for a while most likely and pushed it quite a few times to feel the edge. He understands as all of us here that speed is dangerous because he felt real speed quite a few times in his car... So, if he wasn't under any substance and he wasn't as police would of report that right away, they would of make a big deal out of it to show everyone...

I can be wrong but I believe that this is what happened. Poor guy is tired of working hard every day, building all around him, his family his business... He drives with his probably spoiled wife sitting next to him or maybe she was PMSing and F...ING HIS BRAIN. One way or another they got into a fight and she really pissed him off so he just start speeding like CRAZY...

I wish her full recovery and I hope I'm wrong as otherwise if she knows she did it...

On another planet, hint, hint, it was released as an S65, NOT a C63.

Find another planet of super cars for the details
