Well, I just received a direct call from AMG academy and they cancelled the Sep 23 Laguna Seca run and moved me to the 28th at AAA Speedway. So I'll see you all both days!

How is Fontana? I get the one day school for free and always wanted to race on Laguna Seca but not familiar with the Fontana course. Not that I'll do anything but be on the waiting list.

Dear AMG private Lounge members,
The AMG Private Lounge team is pleased to invite our members to join us for this official AMG Private Lounge Gathering at Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, CA on Saturday, October 27th.
The event will take place from 1:30 PM to 7:30 PM. We set the late afternoon start time to allow for out of town guests to drive in, as well as to minimize overlaps with the AMG Driving Academy Private Lounge BASIC-Training that will be taking place on that day.
We are very excited to welcome you and your guests to an afternoon of all things AMG, brought to you by the AMG Private Lounge. We think that Auto Club Speedway, with a variety of AMG vehicles on track, courtesy of the AMG Driving Academy, will provide us a great background for what has the potential to be one of the largest gatherings of AMG vehicles on the West Coast of the US.
We will provide a designated parking area for AMG Private Lounge members where mixing and mingling with your fellow members is encouraged. We expect a big crowd of AMG vehicles and a photographer will be on hand to document the day.
As you will see below in the schedule, we plan to have AMG vehicles on display, AMG presentations, Q&A sessions, Hot Laps with PRO drivers and a chance to drive our AMG’s on an Auto Cross course. We also plan to have a couple of special guests and a couple of our usual surprises.
Members are welcome to bring a limited number of guests (up to 3) as long as they arrive with the PL member. Unfortunately, due to track requirements, children under the age of 15 are not permitted. Please keep in mind that this event will be conducted while an AMG Driving Academy event is also going on. Due to this, some areas of the track will be restricted and PL members will be asked to stay in designated areas. Under no circumstances will PL members be allowed to interfere with the AMG Driving Academy event that will happening at the same time.
As we know our members would like a chance to drive at this event, we have been able to set aside time from 5:30 PM to 7 PM where we will be able to use the AMG Driving Academy Auto Cross course. Due to the limed time that we have to use the course it will only be open to AMG Private Lounge members for participation. We will not be able to accommodate members' guests as drivers.
Each AMG Private Lounge member in attendance will be also able to participate in a hot lap around the Auto Club Speedway roadcourse in an AMG with a PRO driver driving. We will allow PL members to gift this ride to one of their guests. If you wish to do this, please notify the PL team when checking in at the event.
Please keep in mind that the purpose of this event is to allow our Private Lounge members a chance to get together, view AMG vehicles and talk with the AMG Private Lounge Team. THIS IS NOT AN ON TRACK EVENT – MEMBERS WILL NOT HAVE A CHANCE TO DRIVE ON THE AUTO CLUB SPEEDWAY TRACK AS A PART OF THIS EVENT.
There is no cost to attend but registration for this event is required.

I'll be there on the 27th for the pl event and then the next day for driving academy.
Vdub: My paperwork arrived in a FedEx box yesterday, maybe because I was originally scheduled to go on the 25th. It arrived exactly 30 days before my scheduled date. You should get yours on Friday.

The book it comes with is very cool. Goes over cornering technique, oversteer, understeer, load changes etc etc. Very nice.
Then there is a welcome letter. A small thing with the schedule. And lastly, A course specific turn by turn for the course you are attending.

I am registered. I am very excited to attend. It will be my first. I live in St. Albert, Ab Canada with a winter place in Cathedral City, Ca. and will be in Ca by then. I will have to drive my E55 AMG to this event as it is my California AMG. In Canada I drive a 11 C63 AMG. See you all there
