The only Maserati I consider in the super car category would be the MC-12.

 

The resonator is basically an H pipe surrounded by some baffling chambers to smooth out the sound. Replacing it with straight pipes changes the sound but doesn't offer performance gains. An X pipe replacing the secondary cats will add HP/TQ as it reduces the restriction from the cats and creates a scavaging effect from the left and right exhaust pulses. It will not throw CEL's at it is down stream of the second O2 sensors and should also pass smog (not counting a visual inspection).

 

can we see a video please? and will cops give u trouble withe delete of 2nd cats? any problems to the computer on the car?
