However, it was time for something new like a transformation.
They do a GREAT job and they can complete it in less than four weeks.

I'll have more pictures today. The "artwork" they have done is incredible. The side panels took a LOT of imagination and rework to work on the four door but they did it and it looks GREAT!! I couldn't have ask for anything better. I'm actually at the hood place picking up the first of the new ram air hoods so I can get it on the car and painted all at the same time. Gonna look awesome I think and its fully functional and will be less expensive than any other air box options out today. I'll put new pictures on the other thread later today.
Thanks guys for your kind words and hopefully the last four months will all be worth it!!

You've sure got one hell of a crew to fabricate your imagination in person.. hehe
Love the ideas and work you always get done.... sure is a lot of fun watching what people can do with our cars.
Out of curiosity though, since the car sits as its shown in the pictures, for what I'd imagine would be weeks at a time, is there any preperation and procedures you perform before cranking it over and driving it again?
And I don't think I caught it, but did you mention what colour this would be painted now? I'm going to assume you'll keep the factory barolo red to keep its prestige, but maybe you'll go with something different...

This is an awesome transformation that you're making. Hope you'll get the facelifted headlights in the future to complete the look.
You mentioned getting a ram air hood- is that going to be similar in style to the Black Series?
Since so much stuff has to be repainted, it seems like an opportune time to paint the whole car... perhaps in Solar Beam!

I seriously, seriously, seriously thought about repainting the car and actually planned it. Then I began to think about it being a four door and would it look right?? Then my wife made the comment "Honey, the way you drive, do you need a bright yellow car to get attention?", true story!! Needless to say it will stay barolo red.
Off to the paint shop:
