OFFSET Questions
I am looking to buy some new wheels, for the rear I am looking at a 20" x 10", I know a lot of people hate 20's but the roads here are not too bad.
Questions is, I am currently using KW V3's and my car is very low, would an offset of +50 be OK with such a low car?
At present I have the OEM 19" wheels using a 10mm spacer, I would like the new wheels to sit in the same area.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
A 10" wheel out cack is a very tight fit. To make it stick out the same as your stock wheel with 10mm spacer, you would need a 56 offset...but the problem is that with a 56 offset, and a 10" wheel, you might rub on the inside of the passanger wheel well. I have stock suspension and went with a 53 offset 10' out back with a 275 tire. It is flush with the fender on the outside, and there is HARDLY any room on the inside of the wheel well, but it does not rub even over speed bumps. I am very happy with my setup. You could go with a higher or lower offset if you use a 265 tire or 255 tire, but I dont really like the stretched look.
