Weird Flicking noise when driving near barrier

I have had this weird chopping or flicking noise when driving up against barriers it sounds like when you drive past posts on the side of the road and you can hear the wind chop past them.

At first I thought it was just the design of the standard c63 rim but would not hear it on the right side of the car? It is very faint sound but still bothers me as I am OCD with cars and cannot stand when any odd noises come from my car.

I got the exhaust checked yesterday for any leaks from my 2nd cat delete as I heard slight ticking noise from under the car on cold startups. Apparently its flames hitting the first set of cats from the extractors.

Has anyone experience this? Many thanks in advance.

Could have lost a chunk from your tire; i.e. a piece of tread.

Thanks for the feedback I thought it may have been a rock so I jacked the car up and span the tyre to look for stones caught which their wasn't. So I got under the engine and looked at the splash tray or whatever it is called and noticed I had missing screw and washer on that side of the car that was making the noise and if u gently pushed on one of the guards it could easily have been the noise that I was hearing at speed. So I fitted the screw and washer and hopefully this has resolved the problem.

Thanks for your replies.
