yes that is correct.

im not sure how it is anymore with cops, i haven't been on it for years...

They're around - usually toward the east end of the Ortega where the curves are. Lots of motorcycles and performance cars on the weekends so the CHP patrol it routinely. I've had good runs in the morning though - attend C&C in Irvine then hit the Ortega around 9:00 before all the racers show up. I'll be out of town this weekend. Have a safe run.
