I just noticed 3 small dents/warps/creases on my rear quarter panel above my gas tank. I dropped it off at the MB dealer this morning to have the software updated and when I picked it up I noticed there were 3 small dents/creases above the gas tank. It is such an awkward location it makes me question, and I know this sounds crazy but could this happen from body flex by whipping the back end??? Thank god I noticed it at the dealership when picking it up because they are going to fix it.... but I'm just wondering if this is the cause or they dented it at the dealership.

That's weird, didn't know there was that much flex.

I have a few that I had fixed via PDR.. but didn't realize that it may be caused by that.
I thought more of someone leaned hard on it. PDR did the trick!

It is impossible to do that. The dealership was negligent while they had your car.

How are they going to fix it?

That is exactly what I asked them... their reply "we have one of the best dent guys in the state, we'll fix it". Apparently they will be able to massage it out. We'll see. I'll report back. I'm taking in back in on Tuesday.

Needless to say my stomach was in knots when I saw it.
