should i put it back in?

So i took my charcoal filters off a month or two ago and the cel would randomly come on then turn off. This has been happening for about a week or two. Should i just put them back on or?

What codes is your car throwing?

If anything unscrew and re screw the air boxes back in.

There may be a gap somewhere letting in un-metered air through.

When tightening the screws, do it in a cross pattern making sure the air boxes are seated correctly.

Well, i never got he codes read. Cel just goes away after i push down on the filter, probably like you said not tightened enough. Gonna do that now and see if it comes back. Thanks bro!

i had the same problem when i took mine out and was just going to replace them back in so i wouldn't have to deal with, but then i unplugged my battery for about 30 min for an unrelated issue and when i plugged the battery back in, i never saw them again. don't know if it was related or if i just got lucky.

My car always had a problem without the charcoals. Others have no issue.

That doesn't make any sense, unless she's the one doing the poking... whatever floats your boat I guess

Actually, makes perfect sense if she is the type to reach out, grab it, and put it in... sorry to be a little graphic...
