Well, here is a picture of the Ferrari 458 Italia, if it's the same car, before the accident.
I have to say that those Ferrari guys were hitting it pretty hard leaving Katie's
Especially with all the Fairfax County Police around, I had one tailing me all the way back to Rt. 7 in Tysons's.
I wasn't about to give him the satisfaction.

damn i believe there was only one 458 there today (at least in the 2ish hours i was there) since i kept looking everywhere for one. finally saw one when the guy was leaving. really hope he's ok. kinda gave me the chills just now, because leaving that car show really amped me up and i drove home like it.

Actually there were two and white one and then this red one. I felt like putting my foot down as well, but Catch Em aka Fairfax County Police was tailing me from behind, so I just took it easy.

just went through your pictures and saw i missed the white one. glad i was able to wake up and get there even though i slept through my alarm. there were a lot of older cars that i don't know enough about to appreciate, but it was cool seeing the people that put a lot of time and effort in their cars proudly show them off.
as for the 458 driver, apparently he was standing next to the wreck after it happened so hopefully that means he's going to be alright physically.

But emotionally, he's a wreck. Just thinking about the costs of repair, if its not totaled, can't tell from the one picture. But I'm glad that he's okay.

I am new to this community, but plan on coming up. If I don't ride up with a buddy, I'll have my C63. I am also anxious to hear that exhaust, as that is the system I am considering putting on my car.

Myself and Kathy (6Point3) from AMG Private Lounge, have been biting at the bit to organize and AMG event for the DMV area. The good news is that MB of Annapolis has agreed to host it, provided they get alot of participation. So how many of you are interested in doing this, sound off

Yeah let's do it. I've been looking for AMG ppl in DC/MD/VA but it seemed like it was all quiet. Glad to see you all making it out to Katie's. Kinda far for me on a Saturday since im up in Bel Air (north of baltimore).
Definitely try to get the MB Annapolis meet set up, I will make sure to make it to that.
Also, may be a good a idea to make a DC area AMG/MB facebook group since more people seem to get on that than regular on forums.

Status update on the Annapolis meet. My friend Kathy contacted me, to gather more information from my past events, that was held at Euromotorcars in Bethesda last year. The dealership wishes to have a nice showing, there's strong indication that they may provide food and beverages, parking spaces. I'll keep you all posted as thing progress, and we narrow down a date and time.

The events that were hosted by Euromotorcars that I coordinated, they provided food and beverages, a side lot for stages some of their AMGs like the SLS and SL65 BS as well as ours. We managed to get an AMG rep from MBUSA to bring down their latest car, which then was the CLS63. We held tech sessions in their maintenance bays, etc. the whole key to having a successful gathering is participation and not what the dealer can provide. I've had great turn outs in Tyson's Corner mall, later security ran us out but it was successful.

At EuroMotorcars, management has scheduled our events around the release of a new car. Originally we asked for ten events, which they condense down to six. As their is a cost associated with these things. We were fortunate to get AMGs involvement with their latest cars. Due to my involvement, I've received free tickets for the NY auto show this year, and tickets to the AMG Performance Drives last year. All I'm trying to say here is get involved. I've tried to get AMG driving events for the DC area, but its market driven. I've been labeled the AMG Ambassador for DC. Their title not mine. I got involved because their wasn't an AMG event here,

So who had the 08-11 C63 with the personalized plates (think they were VA plates maybe) coming out of FedEx field yesterday around 6/7PM? Maybe steel gray if I recall right? Memory is kind of fuzzy.

I think i might have seen you today if you were in Alexandria near the Mercedes dealer by any chance. I was following someone, but honked at you twice. Could have been someone else, but I know that color is pretty rare so I was just wondering if it may have been you.

haha yeah i kinda waved/pointed at you to show my friends in the car, but i dunno if you saw me. absolutely great looking color man. pretty cool spotting you though. we definitely gotta meet up with everyone at some point.
