Tires - please help

Hey all - so I am currently riding contis on my rear 255 30 zr19 MO. The MO cost about $200 more each than the non MO tires. I heard the MO were specifically for my car. Is it necessary to go for the MO or can I get the standard contis for $200 less each?

Sorry bud - so basically your saying there's a risk running non MO tires? Does that also go with other brands such as Michellin SS?

It depends on the load rating. From what I remember the Michelin PSS has a load index of 93 which is lower than the factory recommendation of 95F/94R. Bottom line, if it's lower than what's recommended, yes, there is a risk. However, there is quite a large safety margin in the MB recommendation.
