Car is a 09 c63 non pp with 58000 miles with k&ns and charcoal delete. 93 oct on 255 continental DWS. All else stock. 1/4 tank of gas. All runs were with the k&ns and charcoal delete. Sport mode, ESP off.
Took it to the 1/8th mile on stock tune and ran a best of 8.4 at 86 mph. DA was ~1900.
This would DA correct to around a ~8.1 sec run.
2.0 60ft.
Took it back with the velos personal tune flashed and ran 7.8 at 92. DA was ~1200.
This would DA correct to around a ~7.6 sec run.
1.88 60ft.
A 7.6 calculates to about an ~11.9 in the 1/4 mile.
Picking up half a second in the 1/8th is pretty impressive for just a tune if you ask me. Throttle response is improved greatly and now the tranny shifts smoother in Comfort mode(used to be a little rough under mid level acceleration) and seems faster in sport mode as well. I'm still getting a code if i idle for a while for the charcoal delete though. Hopefully I can figure it out. All calculations were made by dragtimes.com DA correction. 1/8 to 1/4 conversions were made using a standard conversion table from http://www.eldemoniorojo.com/calculator.htm.
