if you're buying brand new...keep in mind they just redesigned the CLS whereas the E has been out for a few years now and will change sooner than the CLS

Also depends on your lifestyle, do you need the room or constantly carting around more than 2 people? get the E class.

But CLS all the way.

I have the same issue two weeks ago, and i end up brought the E class because of the capacity.
The car hasn't arrived yet, can't wait to ride the new engine :-)

cls has better looks and interior is nicer to be in, but from what I've read E drives better and CLS is heavier.

I've driven both cars but not the AMG version, couldnt tell much of a difference. the CLS does feel more special though.
