My M3 was keyed the same way, every panel including the roof. My body shop completely disassembled the car and each piece went through the oven after spraying. I actually thought the finished product was better than OE because the finish was glass-smooth with none of that infamous BMW orange peel. Good luck with the repair!

I hate reading these kinds of stories. I can't imagine this happening to me, I wouldn't know what to do. Hopefully everything will be repaired like new!
