Brake replacement

So i have about 50k on my 09 c63 and rotors have never been changed.I contacted my local dealer and was quoted 2200 for replacing the rotors as well as pads, is this price reasonable?

No, forget about the dealer. Buy the parts online and go to an indy mb shop.

Does your car have the dev package?

I'm selling mine. They have about 5 or 6 thousand miles on them. They are in very good shape, just need to be resurfaced.

I doubt you need rotors. Measure them with a caliper. The min thickness is stamped on them.

Just throw on new pads and you should be good to go... Thats what I did, cost $425 for new pads from formymercedes.com

That was what i was thinking, the service dept. said that both front and rear rotors were less than 20 percent left , however, there is no cracking or visible signs of wear on rotors.
