Wow, that is good info. I will have to get that covered for sure...although I'm sure I'll never drive at the speeds you do Keith

Good infos Keith!! You're the guy to talk to for this conversion since you are the pioneer in everything. lol I remember getting the idea for my rear trunk spoiler from your fading painted car.
Craig, ask your bodyshop to put ur car on blocks asap so I can enjoy my oem 19's. LOL Can't wait to see your car finished as much as I want to see my new wheels.

Hey Meng, my joy will come along with yours...although you will have your wheels before they finish with my car as my Rennens will be mounted prior to the paint. As I mentioned, I will keep you updated.
No, the 2-tone interior didn't slow down my order. I custom ordered everything last May and it was about 4 months regardless of the options I chose.
I'm not 100% sure but I don't believe they are a fit. The tips in the black series sit inside the bumper and I'm not sure how that would look just hanging there. Of course, a cut and weld job and they would be on there, just not sure the look would be right.

FFF*** the black series C class....you do what you want. Your custom creation will be just as good...Most people who have the BS (and more so the people who are making payments on theirs and can barely afford one) don't even need all the foo foo **** anyways. Your car will be awesome and there will be better cars to come in the next couple of years...
IMO the C BS looks like a C coupe with just a body kit anyways! Like yours! Enjoy and keep customizing to your desires....rock on.

One HUGE word of warning to all BS conversion guys. Just in front of the rear tires will get sand blasted in high speed events. I did NOT see that coming. I did a Dupont Registry Airport event last Friday night and we were giving rides. It was a blast but when I got home both rear quarter panels in front of the rear wheels was sand blasted. Not funny. Back to the paint shop again. CRAPP!!!!!!!!!!
I'll have the 3M tape on it next time. Just letting you know.

Did you get the exhaust tips/inserts, center grill, etc.... for the rear bumper yet?
You will need to cut off the rear tips and redirect the muffler pipes into the new tips.
I have pics if you want them.

Wow, they are finally working on the rear of ur car which means my wheels will be off soon.
The rear bumper looks weird as is, but I'm sure once painted & properly aligned, it will look oem. Lol

Ya, not to much longer Meng. Ya, the bumper is just being held there in that pic. Once it's fit properly, with the inserts and painted, it will be OEM! That's why I chose the OEM part conversion, I wanted as close to OEM fit/look as possible. More pics to come in the next few weeks!

This is an amazing project. Good luck with it.
I would have been frustrated not being able to enjoy my new car but i guess it's worth the wait.

I would recommend adding a plate under the rear attaching the bottom of the new bumper to the rear axle area. The BS bumper looks and acts like a HUGE parachute under the rear. The plate diverts air from getting caught up in that area. Just a thought.

2013 C63 Coupe BS Conversion
Ya, no corners cut on this conversion. It does make my heart stop a little to see my brand new C63 chopped up like this but the end result I'm sure will make it all worth while. Thanks for the kind words guys!
