Hello from sunny downtown Aspendale!
When you do get on the dyno, make sure you post before & after readings so that we can see what extra can be gained from the P.P.
Cheers, Pickles.

Hi Guys

+ for Melbourne

Thinking about getting a tune done. Going to call Evolve and Active Motorwerke.

Has anyone had any experience with Active Motorwerke?

Also thinking about
upgrading headers
removing secondary and primary cats

anyone in Melbourne that has already done that? would love to hear one in person before i went ahead with it

Go Melbourne.

I went mail order from Eurocharged with a hand held loader. Huge price difference to a "custom" tune.

Total cat removal a serious no go in Australia.

I have had good success with Eurocharged.
They sent me Handheld tuner, etc for my E63. Huge difference in performance.

They unfortunatley couldnt tune the ML63, so i went with OE Tune for the ML. Also quite a difference.

I will do my C63 with Eurocharged, because i dont have a handheld from OE, and when i got the OE tune, the guy happened to be in Australia at the time, so he just came to me and did the tune on the ML.

My friends C63 is dyno tuned by a place here in Sydney. I will get the dyno sheet from her and post it up, but she got 303RWKW from tune, 2nd cat & resonator delete. DynoDynamics shootout mode.

Her car is pretty mental in performance. Sounds great too. Very rumbly at low speeds, and raspy at high RPM

Will post up soon.

For you Australian people, I have a handheld unit from OE Tuning which I no longer need, I have since gone the Weistec route.

If anyone wants it, happy to give it away for the shipping cost.

Not sure if it can be used by Euro Charged, but I remember reading somewhere that it can be unlocked and used by other vendors.

We all use the same handheld, you will just have to pay a fee by the maker to unlock it. They are vin locked to the original car

Hi

To Charliekay: I am very interested in the hand held unit. How much are you asking for it? I am located in Melbourne.

Regards,

If you can cover the postage than you can have it for nothing.

I have the unit, which is in mint condition, only used it a couple of times, and I think I still have the original USB which has the software on it.

You will need to contact Jeremy from OE Tuning to either get a tune or get it unlocked so you can use it with Eurocharged.

If you are interested, PM me your suburb and postcode and I will check with my courier on the cost.
