2012 C63 Sedan, P31, Magnetite Black
Not many C63's in my area so most don't know what it is. I have had the occasional Audi, BMW, Jag drivers check it out definitely only car guys notice. The guy in the Jag pulled up and stayed behind me in the other lane while he looked the car up and down. The only thing that gets some attention or questions are the giant red calipers.
Oh I am pretty sure the BMW crowd knows what it is they tend to hang back and drive the speed limit. Have seen a couple of M3's slow down to near the speed limit when they see the car. I thought that was funny since I figured they would all want to race.

I will occasionally come out to my car and see some guy taking pictures of it.
On a couple of occasions i have had guys ask me to rev. Always guys, never girls. If there was a girl that was interested, she would probably be a good person to get to know lol.
I do get the occasional stares at the aero kit that appear like
"why would you rice out a mercedes?"

I do not get looks until I start the car. The Renntech headers with Akrapovic exhaust definitely turns heads. No other car sounds like it. Even at the track with all the Exotics, people just say they love the sound.

The only comments I've received are from other C63 drivers. There are a quite a few around here.
However, in my wife's matte SLK55 we catch people taking photos left and right. She also gets numerous thumbs up and waves. Its certainly the color and rarity.

had some dudes follow me for about 3 blocks today while i was in the city, it's been raining all day so everytime i would get close he would put his window down to hear the car. i Kinda enjoyed it rev'd it hard at the lights for him and he gave me thumbs up lol. Mine gets attention

BMW M is more well known due to BMW's intense media effort. On the other hand, I like AMG's ability to fly under the radar like a regular MB, unless you have something like the SLS.
