Driver side LED mirror out (help)

Does anyone know where I can get the LED for the driver side mirror. I have the 2010 style mirror and the bulb is out. I tried swapping the modules but the driver side is still out. I need to find out how to swap out that bad LED bulb.
Anyone know a vendor

Dealer cost $200.00 bring the KY that way it doesn't hurt as bad. You have to replace the whole housing with the LED light.

Just so you know

Looks like you can get the LEDs separately with parts.com.

Why? You won't be able to use it. You have a pre-FL version. OP has a 2010 c63. And it's pretty easy DIY. You just pull the mirror out and unscrew the 2 screws (or 3 if you have preFL) and pull off the cover.

I meant if OP sourced the part himself and installed it himself, it might be much cheaper than the dealer...I'm not looking for mirrors.

My LED went out. I took it apart and it's the LED board. Sadly the dealer does not sell just the lens ( only LED ) but with the housing so I had to but the whole damn housing. Man it sucked!

Why didn't you just buy the light online then replace it yourself? Doesn't make any sense to get the part from the dealer and have them rip you off further by putting it on considering how easy the job is.

Brothers trust me if you could I would have. The LED is sealed with inside the clear plastic ( looks sonically welded and, there are some kind of board with chips of some sort in the plastic casing. ) hence taking the led out would mean drilling/cutting a hole and "making some kind of rig" the light will never be weather resistant or water tight. Trust me if I could have done it a clean "proper mod" I would have been sharing it with you guys to save our hard earned $.

If it shorts out the part # ( only part # comes with the housing and LED) there is no way to cut out the LED and plug/weld and new one. You can't just buy the LED online and plug it in.

The W204 09 and older DOES HAVE A PART NUMBER FOR JUST THE STRIP.
I wish I took pics of it before I threw the old part away.
Shop cost is $200.00 per side. On a good note the housing comes color matched

I see. Not to beat a dead horse but OEM color matching housing is available online as well; quick look at parts.com the price is $70 each side. Plus for ~$70 extra, carbon fiber casings (for both side) is available online as well.

Yes sadly they will sell you the housing but no the LED. And trust me that if they wanted to they could sell you just the lens section of the side mirror so all you would have to do is pull it off ( held on my double sided tape ) and put the new housing on the LED or visa versa.

My car is an 09 with the 2010 LED. I hope someone will start making the replacement cheaper so we could just pop the new LED lens into our existing housing.

I hope this helps gents.
