Strap In...2014 E63

I participate on a similar board for a sports team I follow and the same thing happens - a friend of a player will post something up about a contract or injury or trade and everyone just beats on them for not spilling every little detail. Then a week later, if it comes true, everyone forgets all about it and moves on to the next person to hate. Luckily, people keep posting anyway.

I thought the only major exterior change is the grill and single headlight update
Please do NOT stop posting such info. This forum is not just about the present and the past, but about the future as well. Posts like yours get (some of us) excited about what is around the corner. The current gen C63 is getting old and somewhat boring, so we need something go get excited about again. As someone said, the new E63 may give us a good sense of where MB is going with their performance division, and that is very exciting news! Think about how excited everyone was before the C63 came out in 2007.
So THANK YOU for starting this discussion right now. There is enough time to fill in the blank with facts, but I am just happy to hear something positive about AMG's future cars.

They really need to bring the CLS63 shooting brake to NA as well :P
and you think this will translate into the C class as well?
Sounds good but I imagine some C63 BS owners getting quite upset when a baseline 2014 C63 blows it out of the water.

We got to see a whole lot of stuff at the dealer meeting last year in Germany that none of us expected to get access to.

The next C63 will not be disappointing, that I am confident in.
If the C-Class targets younger buyers, and the E-Class is as aggressive as what I saw, it should be even better than the E relatively speaking.
I have a large soft-spot for the Estate as well...I have to say that I prefer the E over the CLS Shooting-Break, but I would nonetheless like to see one.
The E63 is going to blow everything in the current and future line-up out of the water (including the SLS Black)...maybe not handling wise, but it will at least match it from an acceleration perspective

That I honestly don't know...didn't even look at that...the rest just took me so off guard that I felt like a little boy again.
The new M5 is going to look like a silly attempt at an aggressively styled sedan when the E is released..

Let's put it this way, the Ferrari FF is going to have a hard time keeping up...
I appreciate your comments very much and am happy to see that there is another enthusiast out there that is an AMG gear-head at heart..

Glad to hear it!

Absolutely - just look at the new CLA...the C-Class will ride the coattails of that.

Also, if you can share your thoughts on the new headlights. I was hoping they would go away from 2 light design for some time now.
Thanks for the info today Indy. Have been hearing a debut at Detroit. Press release a little before that
Cheers!!!!!!

Yeah, I wish, but got married a year ago and am trying to put money in the bank...don't get me wrong, the C63 is expensive, but it is relatively inexpensive when considering what you get...
