i've had recently installed the h&r coil overs in my car.. now i've cleaned up the stock shocks.. was wondering is it ok to have these stored laying (horizontal)? or do i need to have this vertical (standing up)? just want to store this the right way and may sell or keep these (to sell the h&r's) in the future.

Had you not asked I never would have thought about this. Although everyone stores shocks on their sides, theoretically speaking for long-term storage upright might have its advantages.

shrink wrap it and put them in the box and store horizontally is what i did...
