What the hell do you think people did for the last 100 years of automobiles and no ESP at all?
I don't believe the vast majority of consumer cars in the past 100 years have/had any where near the amount of torque and horsepower as a C63.

Tire technology has improved along with horsepower. If anything, the muscle cars of the late 60's and early 70's were scary to drive, and didn't come with traction control.

my GT3 has no traction/stability control. just ABS. countless track days and not one issue. its a matter of understanding the car and learning how to drive it.

i am yet to break the first thousand miles on my C63, but as soon as i do (and the spring is here), i plan to take it to the track and begin learning how it behaves and what works and what doesn't.

stability control programs are great for 99% of drivers. however, some folks are probably better off without its intervention.

Guys, you are all forgetting one important FACT,

You can NEVER FULLY turn ESP off.

If you hit the brakes hard enough and the car senses you are losing control ESP still comes back online to save you, even with it completely off.
