Because of the rear oriented torque split. The LSD still helps the back end hook and go.

It's going to be close, but 560 factory HP from 4,0 liter, even BMW needs 4,4. I think their durability can't be compared with M157 which is bigger and is around 560HP.

For the tarmac, yes. For off-road rallying type road surface, no. And also no due to the massive difference in price. STi's and Evo's are still really good value for their performance. Moreover, they are capable on both the paved and the non-paved surface, stead of just the paved. Try racing an AMG road cars, even with 4matic, against those rally type cars through a rally course and AMG will be left far, far behind.

How early would MY2014 E63/CLS63 come out?
I am considering postponing my CLS coming in January for a 2014 but I am not sure I can wait till August. The dealer may not be happy with that but oh well...
I am wondering if the quarter mile time would also be .4 second quicker? That would mean low to mid 11s stock.
I will still mod the car by tuning it so I do not think the extra 25bhp matters.
What would you guys do? I know that there is always something newer and better coming out but that is pretty huge difference performance wise. I live in FL so AWD is not a must.

You still want the slip to be limited between the right and left axles on both the front and rear.

My AWD Evo had essentially 3 LSD's. A center, front and rear.

I'll be the lone descending voice. I don't like the new headlights, seems like MB is going back to the early 2000's organic blob design. I like the sharper more masculine look of the previous E63.
